CL-6 6.5" Mid/Woofer

EX-450 Crossover:
The EX-450, a new design in 2007, provides the essential CDT Audio Elliptic crossover topology in the most affordable package. The two-way crossover is composed of a 5th order elliptic high pass network for the Tweeter and first order butterworth for the woofer. Three Tweeter levels are selectable. Tweeter protection is provided. Crossover takes place at 4.3kHz. Mylar and film capacitors in the Tweeter network. This provides greater power handling and clarity.
This set uses the smoothest silk Tweeter. Always gentle and forgiving, this Tweeter emphasizes the music and avoids noise and artifacts that may embed some source material or be characteristic of less than perfect amplifiers. Perfect for use with any kind mid woofer application. Very low listening fatigue. Neodymium magnet including surface and flush mounts.
CL-6EX 6.5" Coaxials
This is part of CDT Audio's newest series of speakers the Classic audiophile coaxials. CDT sees a strong trend in cars getting smaller and smaller. To address these smaller cars which sometimes have very slim doors, we have come out with a less depth yet very powerful smooth audiophile sounding coaxial speaker.
These exciting new models not only more slim, but due to new manufacturing techniques and efficiencies are available at incredibly low prices. Yet, typical of CDT Audio, the quality has not been compromised at all! This new model, the CL-6EX (6" coaxial), has some outstanding features.
